The AI Asia Pacific Institute (AIAPI) is proud to have taken part in Singapore Tech Week from 8-9 October 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. We were energized by the calibre of solution-providers, the rich conversations and the abundant potential for new partnerships across the cloud, hybrid, multi-cloud, edge and AI-infrastructure ecosystem.
We encountered over 100 solution-providers, including major names such as CapitaLand, China Telecom, Datadog and NTT Data, among many others. These organisations are showing up with serious intent, showcasing the latest in cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud, edge, and AI-ready infrastructure solutions.
AIAPI’s Contribution
Our President, Kelly Forbes, took to the Cloud & AI Infrastructure stage to present “Driving the Responsible Development and Use of Generative AI in ASEAN” in the Keynote Theatre. Kelly’s talk underlined the Institute’s commitment to advancing AI infrastructure not just in scale, but in alignment with ethical, sovereign and inclusive principles across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Takeaways
- Infrastructure as enabler of AI: The ecosystem is moving rapidly from “we need cloud” to “we need AI-ready infrastructure”. The platforms that support large language models, inference pipelines, edge/real-time compute and so on. The event’s theme, “Connected Futures, Boundless Impact”, underscores that shift.
- Hybrid and multi-cloud are not optional: Many of the solution-providers highlighted flexibility, vendor-agnosticism, edge‐integration and seamless linking of on-prem, hybrid, cloud and edge.
- Ecosystem and partnership matter: With over 100+ solution partners present, the value is less about any single vendor and more about how they interact and synergize to deliver business outcomes.
- Sustainability, sovereign and risk resilience are front of mind: In the Asian context especially, data-centre growth, power/energy constraints, sovereignty and governance – these are as important as raw compute.
Closing Thoughts
We extend our thanks to the event-team at Tech Week Singapore. We look forward to working closely with the organisers and our partners to ensure 2026 delivers even stronger outcomes, deeper collaboration and measurable impact for infrastructure AI across Asia-Pacific.
